Our February Speaker is Sharon Fuente and the topic will be "Portrait Photography"!
The goal of any portrait is to tell a story. We want the viewer to feel something when they see the image and to engage with it. So whether it is planned or spur of the moment, we need to think about the end goal… what is it we want to tell the viewer, what is the purpose of taking this image?
During Sharon’s presentation, you will learn:
Basic guidelines for portrait photography
Posing tips and examples - men vs women, couples, children and families
Props - Using what is available and what you can bring with you to help tell the story you want to tell
Live demo with volunteers
Common problems and suggested solutions
