August 08, 2026: "All Things America - People, Places & Things" Show & Tell | Monthly Theme

The August Theme is "All Things America - People, Places & Things" Show & Tell!

This month's Show & Tell takes a slight departure from our traditional theme that ties directly to the monthly presentation.

With the recent celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, the FIFA World Cup bringing visitors from around the globe to experience the United States firsthand, and amusing stories of fans discovering America resulting in smuggling bottles of Ranch dressing back home, it seemed like the perfect time to celebrate "All Things America" through photography.

This theme is intentionally broad. Your image might tell a story, evoke nostalgia, celebrate everyday American life, highlight an iconic landmark, capture a uniquely American tradition, or simply feature something that instantly says "America" to you. The possibilities are nearly endless.

When you present your image, be sure to tell us why you chose it and what makes it remind you of America. We're looking forward to seeing the wide variety of interpretations and the stories behind them.

Submissions due August 8th at 11:59 pm!

Show & Tell

This month will be a “show & tell” format, so the photos will not be critiqued. You will have about a minute to tell about your photo – anything about it you wish to share. The photo can be from your archive, but you are encouraged to do some new photography!

Submission

Submission for the monthly theme is for dues-paying Club members. Please go to the Member Portal's Submit Monthly Theme page to submit or click the button below.

Submission is due on August 8th at 11:59 pm!
