Register for the Impactful Portrait Lighting Workshop with Brian Walton!
Join us for this upcoming workshop! This is a paid event sponsored by the Peachtree Corners Photography Club. Sign up today for a portrait lighting workshop hosted by Brian Walton and the Peachtree Corners Photography Club on May 9th at PTC City Hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The hands-on workshop will focus on various constant lighting techniques using modifiers to sculpt and shape light on faces to create impact.
Participants will learn to observe how shadows on the face help shape and provide interest beyond flat lighting. Only 25 sign up slots are available to members with an entry fee of $25 and a light lunch will be provided (must reserve a minimum of 48 hrs in advance to allow time for food order).
Come with your camera and learn to improve your photography in a hands-on workshop. Registration is required. See the form in the member portal. We hope you will join us!

What to bring: Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera and some lenses.

What to bring:
Bring your DLSR, Mirrorless Camera and favorite Lenses for portraits (or even your phone since we will use constant lighting if that is what you photograph with).
Consider bringing a laptop for editing in between shooting and to see your results quickly.

Workshop Fee and Payment
The workshop fee is $25. This fee is to fairly compensate the models who will be working very hard for us and for a light lunch.

Cancellation Policy
If the workshop is canceled for any reason by the event organizers, the registration money will be refunded 100%.
If the workshop participant cancels prior to 48 hours of the tour, there will be 100% refund.
Any cancellations or no shows after 48 hours prior to the event will be non-refundable.
Workshop Leader:
Brian Walton is a longtime board member of the Peachtree Corners Photography Club and a dedicated photographer with a deep passion for both image-making and education. Since the club's formal inception, Brian has been a driving force in the community, generously sharing his knowledge through a wide range of technical webinars, hands-on workshops, in-depth presentations, and engaging tutorials.
Known for his artistic approach to a wide variety of subjects — from portraits and architecture to macro and abstracts — Brian brings a creative eye and thoughtful intention to every shoot. His ability to combine technical precision with expressive vision has made him a respected mentor and valued contributor within the club.
