The February Technical Webinar speakers will be members of the Peachtree Corners Photography Club Board and the topic will be “How to Rescue and Enhance Your Photos with Post-Processing”. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
We all try to get our photographs perfect when we press the shutter button. But that doesn’t
always happen, for a myriad of reasons, some of which are beyond our control. Perhaps it was a milestone event, the trip-of-a- lifetime, or just one of those unexpected moments that you saw coming at the last split second and you grabbed your camera. Maybe it’s that your exposures were wrong. It’s crooked. The colors are off. Your focus point was slightly off. It is super noisy. The main subject is lost in the busy background.
Or maybe it was taken with your iPhone from far away, so the cropped file is really tiny. But it is a precious photo because it can never be taken again. Or maybe the photo is pretty good, but just doesn’t have the impact you want, or doesn’t look the way you saw it in the moment. How can you enhance the photo to make it closer to what you saw through the viewfinder? Either way, you really want to find a way to “fix” the photo. Our speakers will describe and demonstrate many of the ways you can salvage or enhance
an important photograph and make it a “keeper.” Not every photo can be fixed in post-processing, but the tools available to us are getting better and better all the time. common issues with photos that come straight out of the camera and how to enhance photos to
make them the best they can be.

Schilling (Mentoring Chair), and Brian Walton (Themes & Critiques Chair) are all very
accomplished photographers and are experts in various areas of post-processing.
