The monthly club meeting is a free event for anyone who shares a passion for photography, from the total beginner with your phone to a professional with multiple gear sets. Please join us in-person or online and invite anyone who may be interested in exploring and learning about photography!
We meet at Atlanta Tech Park at 107 Technology Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. You are welcome to arrive at 6:15 pm for fellowship and social time to meet new and current members.

Our August Speaker is Sharon Fuente and the topic will be “Family Photography and Posing for Individuals, Families, and Groups”.
Whether you’re photographing an informal gathering of family or friends, or doing a paid commercial shoot with groups of people, the task can be daunting. How do you get all the people well lit? How do you get everyone in focus? How do you ask them to pose so they look natural? Do you count 1-2-3, and say “cheese”? (Actually, no!)
Come to our August Club Meeting and learn from a master. Sharon will give live demonstrations of proven posing techniques for individuals, families, and small groups.
Sharon will cover the following points:
Posing Do’s and Don’ts
Posing differences for men and women
Posing Groups (large and small)
How to work with families to get great poses and natural smiles
Posing that doesn’t look “posed”
About Sharon Fuente
Sharon Fuente is the owner of Lifesong Photography in NW Georgia. She is a certified professional photographer with Professional Photographers of America and has recently completed her last requirement to earn the designation of Master Photographer. She has won multiple awards in state and national competitions including having her image “Soul Food” chosen as one of 18 images to be part of Team USA representing the United States in the 2022 World Cup of Photography.
Sharon specializes in family photography including maternity, newborn, children, pets and seniors. For four years she had a commercial studio space but has recently moved to a newly built dedicated home studio.
